Aurangabad, Feb 22:
Private coaching classes to remain shut down up to February 28 as per the orders of Administrator of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) (AMC) Astik Kumar Pandey.
It may be noted that Astik Kumar Pandey decided to keep close schools from standard 5th to 9th and 11th up to February 28 because of the rising number of Novel coronavirus patients in the city.
The administration also decided to shut down private coaching classes along with the schools. It was stated in the orders that online coaching can be conducted as usual.
“If the owners of coaching classes and schools flout norms, action would be taken against them as per the provision in Disaster Management Act,” it stated in the orders.
The decision to reopen the schools and coaching classes would be taken on February 28, considering the situation.
