Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: "The Indian Constitution is not merely a collection of laws but the song of liberation for the people of this country. Its focal point is the common man and it has made this country the property of its people," said prominent journalist and litterateur Uttam Kamble.
He was speaking at a special lecture on 'The Indian Constitution and the Visionary Leadership of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar,' organised by MGM University on Tuesday as part of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar's birth anniversary celebration.
University Chancellor Ankushrao Kadam, Vice-Chancellor Dr Vilas Sapkal, senior Gandhian Shriram Jadhav, Ankush Bhalekar, senior journalist Pravin Bardapurkar, Registrar Dr Ashish Gadekar, Dean Dr Rekha Shelke and others were present.
Kamble said that the inspiration for human freedom is embedded in the Constitution. Dr Asha Deshpande conducted the proceedings of the programme.
