Aurangabad, June 19:
Members of the District Congress Committee demonstrated in front of the district collector on Saturday afternoon on farmers issues celebrating ‘Sankalp Din.’ The agitators also raised slogans.
District committee president Dr Kalyan Kale led the agitation.
A delegation of the party submitted a memorandum stating that farm laws were imposed forcefully on the farmers by the Central Government.
Former Minister of State Anil Patel, Kiran Patil Dongaonkar, Saroj Maslage Patil, Ravindra Kale, Bhausaheb Jagtap, Ramrao Shelke and others were present.
