The Corona review meetings chaired by district collector Sunil Chavan and in presence of people’s representatives, organized on every Friday have now been ceased after the implementation of the unlock process. The administrative review of the patients on the oxygen beds and patients positivity rate will be taken on every Friday now.

After the lockdown due to the second Corona wave, the city came on the first level and hence the facilities were regularized. Similarly, conditional relaxation has been granted in the rural areas between 7 am and 4 pm. The restrictions at religious places and educational institutes have been relaxed.

During the meetings on every Friday with the people’s representatives, review on Corona pandemic measures, ventilator usage, availability of beds, mucormycosis, medicines supply and other aspects used to be taken.

The administration is still insistent on RTPCR tests. The traders should conduct the RTPCR testing of the employees while the capacity of the labs has also been increased. The decisions were taken as per the directives of the government. If the restricts imposed in the rural areas are breached, strict action will be taken in this regard. The positivity rate in the rural areas is more and hence there is a need to be cautious, district collector Sunil Chavan appealed.
