Aurangabad, Feb 20:

Commissioner of police, Dr Nikhil Gupta, Superintendent of police, Mokshada Patil, DCP Meena Makwana took the first dose of Corona vaccine. Hence, there was enthusiasm among the police as the senior officers took the vaccines.

The health employees at the District Civil Hospital (DCH) were enthusiastic as Dr Gupta and Patil were taking the vaccines and they were eagerly waiting for the CP and the SP. Both the officers initially completed all the registration formalities. Nurse Reshma Shaikh administered vaccines to them.

District civil surgeon Dr Sundar Kulkarni, AMC medical officer Dr Neeta Padalkar, additional district civil surgeon Dr Kamlakar Mudkhedkar, Dr Santosh Naikwade, nurse Kusum Bhalerao and others were present.

Dr Gupta said, we wouldn’t know that we will not be infected after taking the vaccines, but it is important to take precautions. The vaccine is safe and all the police employees should take the vaccines and follow the safety guidelines, he said.

Mokshada Patil said that the people are ignoring social distancing and masks in the rural areas during functions. They must follow the safety guidelines. The vaccine is completely safe, and everyone should take it, she appealed.
