Danve criticizes conference resolutions
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
Leader of opposition MLC Ambadas Danve criticized the resolutions passed at the 44th Marathwada Sahitya Parishad, calling them politically motivated and aligned with the opposition’s agenda.
Speaking at the Marathwada Sahitya Parishad, MLC Ambadas Danve took a firm stand on the water crisis, declaring, “We brought down the Nizam, and we won’t stop until we make those in power bow down and secure our rightful share of water.” The conference also condemned the deteriorating language used by politicians, pointing out that even women were being targeted. Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad president Kautikrao Thale Patil expressed satisfaction with the event’s discussions but admitted disappointment over the low audience turnout. Key resolutions passed included a demand for Marathwada to receive 22 TMC of water annually as per distribution policies and a call for the government to expedite funds for the proposed Marathi university.
