Aurangabad, April 7:

The examinations of different professional courses, including Engineering and Pharmacy, began within Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) jurisdiction Tuesday.

Over 14,900 students of B Tech, M Tech, MCA, Law, Journalism, BCA, BBA, BSW, M Pharm, B Com (e-Commerce) students of second, third and fourth years are taking examinations at 38 centres in Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad districts.

All COVID measures like physical distancing, wearing a mask are being implemented strictly at the centres.

Over 1.27 lakh take exams on a single day

The second and third-year undergraduate courses examinations started on March 16 while first-year students are taking the papers from today. Also, the examinations of the professional courses commenced on April 6. Over 1.27 lakh students of all the courses took papers today, on a single day.
