Aurangabad, April 1:

The suspects opened fire on a hotel of the fiancé of the girl, who refused the marriage proposal of the accused, are still at large even after 36 hours of the incident.

It may be noted that the suspect Vishal Manohar Gadilkar (Kopardi, Parner, Ahmednagar) and his accomplice came on a motorcycle and fired two rounds on Hotel Manish Inn in Padegaon area on Wednesday at around 3 am. The hotel belonged to the fiancé of the girl Manish Gaikwad and their marriage was scheduled in April. Suspect Vishal earlier proposed the girl for marriage but she refused and out of rage he fired shots on the hotel and threw a threatening letter. A case was registered at the Cantonment police station. However, the suspects are still at large even after 36 hours of the incident.

Meanwhile, two police teams have been dispatched in search of the suspects, informed ACP Vivek Saraf.
