Five two-wheelers stolen in a week

Aurangabad, Nov 8:

Theft of two-wheelers is on the rise in the city. The thefts did not come to a complete halt even after the accused were nabbed by the police from time to time. Over the past week, thieves have stolen five two-wheelers from different parts of the city.

Ramesh Narayan Chavan (42, Wadgaon-Kolhati, Waluj) had gone to the Bank of Baroda at Cidco, Town Center on November 1 at around 11 am. He had parked his two-wheeler (MH20-BH-8124) in the office parking lot. The thief broke the handle lock and stole his bike. Kailas Babasaheb Bobde (25, Bajajnagar) had parked his two-wheeler (MH20-CM-1365) in front of his house. The thief stole his bike in the middle of the night. Jitesh Subhash Gaikwad (29, Laxminagar, Bajajnagar) had parked his two-wheeler (MH20-FM-0842) in front of his house on November 6, at around 9 pm. Thief broke the handle lock and slipped away with the bike. Similarly, Vinod Sahebrao Pagare (36, ZP quarters, Jalna) had come to CIIGMA hospital on November 6 at around 12 noon to visit his relative. He had parked the two-wheeler (MH21-AA-1505) in the parking lot. He saw his bike missing when he returned. Also, Sheikh Shafiq Sheikh Shabbir (40, Pusli Devgaon, Jalna) had come to the Chawni weekly market on November 5. He had parked his two-wheeler (MH21-BA-4914) in the parking lot of the market. The thief broke the lock and decamped with his two-wheeler. A case has been registered in the concerned police station.
