Getting vaccinated is a small step towards a corona free district

Aurangabad, Feb 11:

The district has been fighting against Covid-19 for the last one year. So far, masks, social distance, sanitisers have become important. The district has taken a step towards becoming corona free through vaccination. The vaccine is completely safe and everyone should get vaccinated to protect themselves and others, said district collector Sunil Chavan.

Municipal commissioner Astik Kumar Pandey, deputy commissioner of police Deepak Girhe along with Chavan took corona vaccine at the District Civil Hospital (DCH) on Thursday. Chavan was talking to reporters after the vaccination. Staff nurse Reshma Sheikh and Kusum Bhalerao vaccinated the officers.

Chavan said that the rate of vaccination will increase further. As a citizen, everyone should complete the task of getting vaccinated. Administrator Pandey said the vaccine is safe. Therefore, everyone should get vaccinated after getting called. Deputy commandant of CISF A Manna, deputy registrar Soham Wayal, district surgeon Dr Sundar Kulkarni, additional district surgeon Dr Kamlakar Mudkhedkar, municipal health officer Dr Neeta Padalkar and others were present.

Fear of needle, not vaccine

Journalists asked Pandey if he was afraid while taking the vaccine. Pandey said that he was not afraid of vaccine then, but was a little scared of the injection needle.
