Aurangabad, Oct 14:

Intern doctors of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) joined patients’ service on Wednesday.

It may be noted that 200 interns were on a one-day strike on Tuesday demanding COVID allowance. This affected the health service. The resident and senior doctors had a tough time in the absence of intern doctors.

They warned the administration of restoring to agitation again if no decision is taken on their demand within ten days. The GMCH administration, intern doctors had a meeting with District collector Sunil Chavan. Dean Dr Kanan Yelikar said that the decision to send the proposal for the COVID allowance was taken.
