Grand procession in Chikalthana area;

A grand procession was taken out on Tuesday night in Chikalthana, Bridgewadi, Mukundwadi, Sanjaynagar, Ambikanagar (N-2), Ambedkarnagar, and Cidco-Hudco areas to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.

The procession was organised under the initiative of Yuva Mitra Mandal (Sector Cidco). Tributes were paid to Dr Ambedkar’s statue at Tathagat Chowk on Jalna Road. A large number of followers from Chikalthana MIDC, Sindhiban, Bridgewadi, and MHADA N-2 Cidco areas participated.

People of all age groups joined the celebrations with great enthusiasm while paying homage at the statue in Chikalthana. The procession resonated with drum beats, slogans, and festive energy. Police bandobast was tight to ensure smooth conduct of the event.
