Aurangabad, May 16:

The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) has decided to take action against those departments heads which will not send the information and documents to court cases on time.

It may be noted that many cases are pending with court and tribunals. The general administration department forwards the notice received from the court or tribunal. The case is handed over to the law officer through the department concerned.

However, it has come to light the department heads do not send the required information and documents on time to submit it in court.

The administration fails to present its side properly. This weakens the side of the university and sometimes tarnishes its image.

Bamu issued a circular recently stating that department heads should provide needed information and documents to the law officer's office within a given time.

“Any department head who fails to submit the information on time and if university loses the case or is unable to present on time, it will be considered as a serious issue and will face strict action from the administration,” it was mentioned in the circular.
