Literature and art festival, painting exhibition became the main attraction for art lovers

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

An art exhibition featuring works by artists from across the state emerged as a major attraction at the three-day literary festival organised by Sahitya Bharati, Maharashtra Pradesh, under the aegis of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad. Art lovers visited the exhibition and appreciated the displayed artworks.

The exhibition was inaugurated by minister Atul Save. Prominent attendees included Dr Sarjerao Jige, Dr Aniruddha Naik, Dr Prem Khadkikar, Dr Divakar Kulkarni, Umesh Kale, Sunil Doke, Sainath Fuse and Appasaheb Pathade. The exhibition was curated by internationally acclaimed artist Gajendra Aware (Sillod). Under his guidance, the exhibition showcased artworks depicting the richness of Indian culture, the grandeur of historical monuments in Marathwada, natural beauty and abstract conceptual themes.

From young to child artists

Participating artists in the exhibition included Deepak Sonawane, Vijay Gawali, Salim Attar, Vinod Garad, Kashinath Gavit, Bharati Thakare, Khandu Sonawane, Pragya Keshav Joshi, Vilas Dashrath Chandane, Swati Bodkhe, Sunita Gote, Pradeep Deshmukh, Sarika Pangare, Purva Betharia, Ashish Jaiswal and Pawankumar Shinde. The participation of child artist Riya Aware was particularly noteworthy.
