Aurangabad, Oct 23: A 40-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself to a tree on his farm in Kasoda Shivar on Friday at around 7 am.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Shivaji alias Kadu Hiraji Devbone. Shivaji lives in Kasoda Shivar with his parents and wife Rekha. The family had a meal on Thursday night and went to sleep. Meanwhile, his family members started searching for him as he was not seen on Friday morning. At some distance from the house, Shivaji was seen hanging from a tree with a nylon rope. He was rushed to a government hospital where doctors declared him dead at around 11.30 am. An case of accidental death has been registered at MIDC Waluj police station.
