Aurangabad, April 21

MP Imtiaz Jaleel and district collector Sunil Chavan on Wednesday visited the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and inspected the newly-installed oxygen tank. The GMCH administration was instructed to remain alert about oxygen stock. Dean Dr Kanan Yelikar, medical superintendent Dr Suresh Harbade were present. MP Jaleel, after getting detailed information about the newly-installed oxygen tank in the super speciality building, said this new facility would help increase oxygenated beds. He appealed to patients and relatives to cooperate with doctors and nursing staff. The MP said talks were on with the supplier of Remdesivir to make available enough stock for the injections for the district. He also said officers were taking follow-up with the government for the supply of the injections.
