Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Under the directives of the National Legal Services Authority (NLSA, New Delhi) and the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA), a National Lok Adalat will be organised on May 9 across all tehsil courts as well as the district and sessions court in the district.

According to information provided by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), the Lok Adalat has been arranged to facilitate amicable settlement of pending cases as well as pre-litigation matters. Cases eligible for compromise, including civil and criminal disputes, bank recovery matters, labour disputes, electricity and water bill cases, money recovery cases, land acquisition matters, revenue disputes, industrial disputes and matrimonial cases, will be taken up during the event.

Citizens wishing to place their pending matters before the Lok Adalat have been asked to submit applications to the court where their cases are currently pending. For pre-litigation matters, applications may be submitted to the DLSA or the respective Tehsil Legal Services Committee.
