The 54th National Safety Week commenced at Pitti Engineering Limited on Tuesday, with company workers and employees taking a safety pledge and being made aware of the importance of workplace safety in Waluj Industrial area.
Various programs have been organized as part of the week-long observance. Ensuring that employees do not suffer any injuries requires vigilance from everyone, stated officer Avinash Patil during the safety week. He emphasized that safety is not just the responsibility of the company or the safety department but a collective duty. Employees do not come to work alone; they bring their family's dreams with them. Therefore, before starting any task, they should take a moment to consider safety. National progress is not measured solely by economic growth but also by the health, safety and well-being of its citizens, stressed Venkatesh Dhamangaonkar, head of HR at Pitti Engineering, while addressing the employees. During the program, some employees presented a street play conveying safety messages. Several other activities are planned throughout the week, which will conclude on March 11, according to the company's head of the safety department, Ramchandra Ingavale. The event was also attended by the deputy director of Industrial Safety and Health Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Pramod Surse along with officials Joshi, Nilangekar and senior company officials Prashant Rindhe, Vishram Lele, Vinayak Nene, B.V. Ramanarao, Prashant Patil, among others.
