Aurangabad, April 28:

The Corona patients are facing the shortage of the Remdesivir injections while their relatives have to wander for injections. On the other hand, the anti-social elements are black marketing the injections by selling at higher prices. On Tuesday, the crime branch police seized five Remdesivir injections from the black marketers. Considering the importance of the injections for the patients, crime branch PI Avinash Aghav stored the seized injections in the fridge of a police constable to maintain the temperature so that it can be used for the patients. Today, PI Aghav handed over these injections to the drug inspector and requested him to use them for the Corona patients.

Remdesivir are proving boon for the Corona patients. Hence, the relatives are wandering from place to place for getting these injections. On Tuesday, the crime branch team after a strenuous effort for around 23 hours busted a racket of black marketing of Remdesivir injections and arrested seven persons. The police seized five injections which they were selling for Rs 20,000 each to the patients. Considering the importance and shortage of the injection, Aghav kept these injections in the fridge of constable Dadasaheb Zargad and gave it for the Corona patients today. Aghav with an emotional tone said, we are aware that people are wandering for injections, if these injections are used by the patients, we will be satisfied that the action was fruitful.
