Police redress grievance of citizens on priority

Aurangabad, June 12:

The Kranti Chowk police station has organised Grievance Redressal Day for citizens staying in its jurisdiction today. The deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Nikesh Khatmode Patil patiently heard the grievances and ordered redressal on priority.

Illegal construction in front of house

The complainant Jaishree Joshi stated that her old-age parents stay near the police department's Motor Transport (MT) wing. However, they are in trouble as one person had made illegal construction in front of their door. As a result, her father could not take out his vehicle. She mentioned that previously, the AMC officials had removed the illegal structure, but the person had constructed the raised plinth again on the road approaching her parents' house. Taking serious cognizance, the DCP directed the police officials to issue a letter to the deputy municipal commissioner in this regard to remove the encroachment and also call the encroacher and warn him of his act.

The SBI bank officers were also present to narrate their grievances. The officers requested to register a case against a person, for cheating the bank and obtaining a car loan. In another complaint, Sanjay Botwe stated that Shubottam Multi-Trade Pvt Ltd, under the aegis of multi-level marketing (MLM) had cheated hundreds of citizens for lakhs of rupees. Hence the DCP ordered the police for an in-depth inquiry and register an offence in this regard.

Hospital patients posing threat to aging parents

There was a complaint made by the two brothers that stated that the patients visiting the hospital, situated in front of their house, are posing a health threat to their elderly parents. The duo grieved that these visiting patients vomit, do spitting and coughing in their open space. When the issue was brought to the notice, but the hospital management paid no heed to it. Hence the brothers urged the police to intervene in the matter and stop the inconvenience to them. The DCP immediately ordered to issue a warning letter to the hospital. The police inspector G H Darade said, " a total of 12 complaints had been settled in the day today."
