President to travel to Shegaon from airport on Feb 25

President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to arrive at the city airport on February 25. From there, she will proceed to Shegaon by helicopter.

In this context, a preliminary meeting was held on Wednesday by the district administration and police authorities to review security arrangements. The detailed itinerary of the President’s visit is yet to be received. However, since she will be arriving at the airport, the responsibility of protocol arrangements will rest with the administration. Necessary preliminary planning has been undertaken, district collector Deelip Swami said.
