Aurangabad, Oct 17:

The office of primary education officer of Zilla Parishad (ZP) submitted the report of enquiry initiated against University High School, to deputy director of Education (Aurangabad region).

It may be noted that parents submitted a complaint with MP Imtiaz Jaleel and Education Officer (primary) against collecting fee forcefully in lockdown, denying online education to students.

MP Jaleel instructed the Education Department to take action against the school for harassing parents mentally. Taking notice of the complaint seriously, Education Officer Surajprasad Jaiswal set a three-member committee to probe the matter.

The school did not make available related documents, nor its school headmistress gave required information during the probe. In the hearing which was held on September 18 found that school is not following rules and regulations.

The school administration was served a notice asking it to remain present for the hearing and give written clarification.

In the report, it was stated that the school did not respond on time.

The education officer in the report recommended for taking action against the school as per provisions of Maharashtra Educational Institutes Act 2011.

“The University High School does not fulfil the terms and conditions of affiliation laid down by Central Board of Secondary Education. Its affiliation should be cancelled. The no-objection certificate which is mandatory for affiliation would be withdrawn,” he mentioned in the report.
