Aurangabad, Jan 6: Prof Prahald Lulekar Pratishthan was established in the city recently to promote literary, social, cultural and education initiatives.

Prof Lulekar retired from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) a few years ago as a professor, is known as a prominent thinker, critic and supporter of reformation.

The Pratisthan was established to promote his stand of reformation. It has instituted an award comprising Rs 10,000 cash and memento to present every year for best Marathi literary works. The award will be presented on March 3.
