Rising customer response to postal services; Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar ranks first in the country

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Customer response to services such as parcel delivery, speed post, Postal Life Insurance (PLI), and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) has been steadily increasing. In these services, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has secured the top position in the country.

Union communications minister Jyotiraditya Scindia recently stated during an annual review meeting held in New Delhi that the India Post recorded a revenue of Rs 15,296 crore in 2025–26. This marks an approximate 16% increase compared to the previous year, making it the highest growth in recent years.

Expansion of services in urban and rural areas

The postal department has made significant progress in parcel services, mail services, and customer-centric schemes. Expansion of services in rural and semi-urban areas, along with the adoption of modern technology and faster delivery systems, has strengthened customer trust. The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar division has implemented effective initiatives in e-commerce parcel delivery, speed post services, and financial schemes.

Leading in revenue growth

Priority will be given to expanding online postal services in the future. Department staff remain committed to efficient service delivery, and both online services and business growth will continue steadily. Currently, the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar postal division ranks first in revenue growth.
