Aurangabad, Feb 21:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has started taking action against function halls and coaching classes owners for flouting Novel coronavirus norms.

It collected Rs 25,000 from them. With the rise in the number of COVID patients, the administration is implementing the measures strictly.

The function halls were permitted for gathering only 50 citizens.

It was found on Sunday that people are ignoring COVID measures in the function halls of the city.

The AMC collected Rs 25,000 from different function halls owners, including Vasanti Mangal Karyalaya, Ramchandra Hall and Hiwale Lawns (Beed bypass).

Similarly, Rs 5,000 was collected from the owner of Kende Coaching Classes (Cidco) and Adarsh Abhyasika each.
