The city police on Monday morning received an anonymous phone call from a man who said he is a terrorist and planted a bomb at Railway Station. The police took serious cognizance of the call, and the bomb detection and disposal squad, Vedantnagar and Railway police searched the entire station for almost one and a half hours. The search teach heaved a sigh of relief as no bomb or suspicious thing was found.

An anonymous call was received at the city police control room on Monday at around 5.15 am. The man on the phone said that he is a terrorist and has planted a bomb at the railway station. The officers informed about it to the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad about it immediately. PI, Sushil Jumde, and sniffer dog team immediately rushed to the railway station. The search team inspected platforms, tracks and parking but did not find any bomb or explosives.

Someone had called to spread panic and the police are investigating in this direction.
