Rural police conduct foot march following Eid

Aurangabad, July 19:

Bakri Eid will be celebrated on Wednesday. Following which, all the police station under the Aurangabad Rural police are conducting the foot march.

Similarly, the superintendent of police, Mokshada Patil, issued orders to create public awareness by organising meetings of all religions peace committees to follow the guidelines issued for the Corona pandemic by the residents.

Patil said considering the present situation, people, instead of offering Namaz at Eidgah, Mosques and public places, should do it at the homes. They should not gather in crowds. As there is the restriction to organise markets for selling animals, people should use online system or phone for it, she said. Prohibitory orders have been imposed in the rural areas till July 29, people should not wander on roads without reasons, and strict action will be taken against those breaching law and order. In all, 83 meetings of the peace and Mohalla committees have been taken so far, she said.

Foot marches were organised at Paithan, Pimpalwadi, Chitegaon, Bidkin, Pachod, Adul, Varud Qazi, Deolai, Karmad, Pimpri Raja, Phulambri, Aland, Vadod Bazar, Sillod, Andhari, Borgaon Bazar, Ghatnandra, Ajanta, Shivna, Phardapur, Soyegaon, Kannad, Khuldabad, Pishor, Vaijapur, Khandala, Mashki, Ladgaon, Shiur, Loni, Gangapur, Lasur Station, Deogaon Rangari, Aurala and other places. Meanwhile, six sub-divisional officers, 17 PIs, 33 APIs, 72 PSIs, 1243 constables, 420 home gurards and riots control squad will be available during the bandobast.
