Senators took administration to task over wrong answers
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: An attempt was made to give vague answers to the Senate member who had been raising questions regarding BA admissions for the past two years.
All the members reacted strongly to this and demanded that a committee be appointed to take action against those who gave wrong answers.
The Vice Chancellor announced the appointment of a committee for inquiry. Apart from this, a good discussion was seen on other issues.
Dean Dr Sanjay Sanluke tried to answer on behalf of the administration. Dr Sunil Magare made an aggressive statement and demanded action against the concerned officials.
Police complaints are made against students after they protest in the university. Dr Sanjay Kamble raised the issue of being threatened by giving notices in the question-and-answer session.
On this, Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari clarified that crimes were registered against the protesters, not against the students. Apart from that, the university refuted Dr Kamble's allegations, saying that it was student-centric. The university also said that the answers given to Dr Kamble's questions were valid and that it would not withdraw.
