Sham-e-Ghazal to be hosted in memory of Bashar Nawaz & and Mehdi Hassan

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Bashar Nawaz Memorial Foundation and Swarsakshi Foundation will jointly organise "Sham-e-Ghazal-Manohar Sangeet Mahotsav" in memory of Bashar Nawaz and Mehdi Hassan, at Govindbhai Shroff Auditorium, SB College, at 7 pm, on February 14.

Internationally level Ghazal singer Pandit Ramesh Kumar Jule (Mumbai) will present Ghazals of Mehdi Hassan and Bashar Nawaz in this programme.

Pandit Ramesh Kumar Jule is a singer of Kirana Gharana of Jaipur and has the privilege of singing Ghazals with Mehdi Hassan. He will be accompanied by Sarfaraz Nawaz Khan (Mumbai) on tabla.

Sarfaraz Nawaz Khan has played tabla with Ustad Zakir Hussain.

All the members of Bazm-e-Bashar have appealed to all the ghazal lovers in the city to attend the programme. Dr Sandeep Sisode, Atul Dive, Yahia Khan, Mahesh Deshmukh, Dr Sohail Zakiuddin and others are working for the event.
