Waluj Mahanagar: A speeding truck (MH 20 CT 4328) crashed into a high-mast light pole at Gorakh Wagh Chowk in Bajaj Nagar on Saturday afternoon after the driver lost control. The vehicle was severely damaged, but no injuries were reported.
Driver Krishna Bhalekar reportedly lost control after the cabin lock opened suddenly. He was trapped in the cabin and was rescued by local residents. The mishap caused brief traffic congestion at the junction. Traffic was later restored with the intervention of local representatives.
