Split in Coaching Classes Association

Aurangabad, Dec 7:

There was a split in private Coaching Classes Association (CCA) of directors and teachers which was formed in lockdown. A total of 10 office-bearers out of 12 came together against Association State unit president Prof Pandurang Mandkikar.

The office-bearers alleged that Mandkikar supported to Prahar Party in Marathwada Graduates Constituency and later BJP without taking them into confidence. Association secretary Dnyaneshwar Dhake said that Mandkikar was removed from the post of president.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, the office-bearers said that the president was hand in glove with different political parties for his interest.

Vice-president P M Wagh said, “Owners of the coaching classes are facing financial problem during the last nine months of lockdown. Noting members into consideration is like a breach of trust, and it is not acceptable to us.

The State level office-bearers of the Association passed a resolution and removed Mandkikar from the post. Now, he is not related to the association. He said that the election for the president would be held.

“The State Government should make a decision about coaching classes and allow us to run the classes in both city and rural areas. It should be given the status of micro and small industries,” he added. There are 1116 coaching classes in the district, and 70 pc of them are with the association. V J Khose, A D Manwar, R R Epper, A B Pathade, S G Tangde, V U More and others were present at the briefing.
