Temperature to fall again after Dec 28

The city recorded a slight rise of two degrees Celsius on Friday fiving a relief to the citizens who were feeling the chill for the last four days. However, the temperature may again fall below 9°C on New Year''s eve.
The city has been feeling the winter chill for the whole last week. The city recorded 9.5°C on Monday, 9.2°C on Tuesday, 9.6°C on Wednesday, 10.2°C on Thursday and 10.4°C on Friday. There was a slight rise in temperature on Thursday and Friday, with the city experiencing heat throughout the day. However, cold winds blew in the morning and after sunset, causing the temperature to fall. Not only Aurangabad city, but other cities in Marathwada have seen a slight increase in minimum temperature. According to the Chikalthana meteorological department, the minimum temperature will hover at 9°C and the maximum at 29°C from December 28. The temperature is expected to start falling further and is expected to remain at 9°C till December 31, so the citizens are likely to feel even colder by the end of the week.
