Terror of a biting dog in Nutan colony

A dog that has been biting residents is still roaming freely in the Nutan Colony area, and citizens have alleged that the Municipal Corporation has not taken any concrete steps to capture it. Due to this dog, there is an atmosphere of fear among the local residents.

In this regard, despite a complaint being lodged with the Municipal Corporation by the Life Care Animal Welfare Association along with Ashok Joshi and Gajanan Govindrao, no action has been taken so far. Notably, there is a girl’s hostel in the concerned area, with a large number of female students frequently passing through. As per High Court orders, biting and aggressive dogs must be captured and provided with proper treatment and management. However, the Municipal Corporation is ignoring this matter. If any untoward incident occurs, the responsibility will lie with the Municipal Corporation, warned Jayesh Shinde, Secretary of the Life Care Animal Welfare Association.
