Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Miscreants set three vehicles on fire in Rozebagh around 4 am on April 1. The vehicles belonged to Dr Abu Bakar Ahmed Mohiuddin Siddiqui (39), a paediatrician from N-12, his brother, and a school van owned by the president of a local educational institution. The incident was captured on CCTV, and a case has been registered at City Chowk police station. Siddiqui’s car (purchased in 2016) and his brother’s car (bought in 2024) were parked outside their residence when a neighbour alerted him about the fire. By the time he reached the spot, the vehicles had suffered extensive damage. Similar arson incidents have been reported earlier in the area. Police sub-inspector Bhagwat Muthal is investigating.
