Aurangabad, April 27 :
The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has informed the citizens stating that the Covid vaccine will be administered tomorrow at its vaccination centres, established in all 115 wards, only. The vaccination centres set up with the participation of private hospitals will not be functioning till the next order.
It may be noted that the AMC received 25,000 doses of the Covishield vaccine, two days ago. The stock is insufficient compared to the response from the citizens. Hence to avoid inconvenience, the vaccine will be administered through AMC centres only, stated the municipal officer of health (MoH) Dr Neeta Padalkar.
The AMC had established 144 vaccination centres including 28 by the private hospitals, it is learnt.
