Vaccination centre to be started in Bamu for staff

Aurangabad, June 7:

A vaccination centre will be started in Health Centre of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University from June 14. The employees union requested Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole to have a vaccination centre.

VC Dr Pramod Yeole instructed the university administration to have the centre in the health centre. The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has sanctioned a vaccination centre for Bamu.

All the teachers, officers, employees, security guards who are 45 and above years of age can take the vaccination at the centre. But, they will have to register at the health centre by June 12 with an identity card and Aadhar Card. Each staff member will be the date of vaccination.

Registrar Dr Jaishree Suryavanshi and medical officer Dr Anand Somvanshi appealed to staff members to take the vaccine. The employees union expressed gratitude to the administration for the vaccination facility.
