Vaccination stopped for the second day in a row
Aurangabad, June 29: The Aurangabad Municipal corporation did not receive stock of vaccines from the government even on Tuesday. Hence the vaccination campaign had to be stopped for the second day as well. The health department has only 300 doses of vaccines left. The vaccines will be given on Wednesday to the citizens at the drive-in vaccination centre. Municipal health officer Dr Nita Padalkar said that there are 300 doses of Covishield vaccine left, from which vaccination will be done on Wednesday. Vaccinations will be given for people who drive in with a car at vaccination centre. Three hundred people will be given tokens. So citizens should not crowd the centre. On Tuesday, 430 people were vaccinated with covshield vaccine. Arrangements have been made at Kranti Chowk health center, Rajnagar health center and MIT hospital Cidco N-4 for the second dose of Covaxin only.
