The victim, Shailesh Kamble (32, Anandnagar), was serving food to guests around 6.30 pm when he was taken outside the venue by the accused, who repeatedly asked, “Who are you?” Despite explaining his relation to the family, he was abused, beaten with kicks and punches, and later attacked with a sharp weapon on his neck, chest, and hands. Relatives intervened after hearing the commotion, following which the attackers fled. One accused has been identified as Sangpal Jawale.
