Weekend complete lockdown exists only on paper

Aurangabad, July 11:

A mini lockdown has been imposed for five days from June 28 and complete lockdown on Saturday and Sunday to prevent rise of Covid-19 in the district. But the citizens and traders were seen floating all the rules of lockdown. A similar situation to complete unlock was seen in most areas of the city on Sunday.

The call of the district administration, municipal and police administration initially received a good response from the citizens, but from the second week of July, the rules were being openly floated by traders and citizens. Only essential services are excluded from the 100 per cent lockdown on weekends. Despite the fact that the number of corona patients is low at present, the danger has not been averted, the administration has repeatedly said that in many places the crowds of citizens are not decreasing.

Markets closed, crowds continue

Even though most of the markets were closed, the traffic and crowd continue to be seen throughout the day in city markets.

What was the situation:

The shops in the Paithan gate area were closed, while some shops were open in Gulmandi. The presence of hawkers on the road was significant. Citizens were flocking to the vendors for shopping. Crowds were seen at tea shops, pan centres and handcarts at Connaught Garden.

Crowd at Bharatbazar

There was a regular crowd in front of auto beautification shops at Bharatbazar. Vehicles occupying half the concrete road is a daily scene.
