Mumbai, July 22 The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a negative note during the morning session of the trade and turned positive.

The Sensex of the BSE opened at 38,178.07 points and touch a high of 38,199.27 and a low of 37,182.83 after closing on Tuesday at 37,930.3.

The Sensex is trading at 37,880.97 down by 49.36 points or 0.13 per cent.

On the other hand, the broader 50-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 11,231.20 after closing at 11,162.25. It is trading at 11,134.70 in the morning.
