Former Australian batsman Dean Jones has been named the head coach of Karachi Kings for the next edition of PSL. The announcement was made on the official Twitter handle of the franchise. Jones who has represented Australia in 52 Tests and 164 ODIs was earlier part of the Islamabad United coaching staff were he helped the side win two titles.
Speaking about his appointment Deano said, "It is an honour and privilege to be a part of this PSL team. Karachi Kings which features some of the biggest names from the cricketing circles including Ben Cutting, Ravi Bopara, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Amir. The team which is yet to win its first title will be hoping to go one step ahead for the next season. Team President Wasim Akram also welcomed Deano with a beautiful message on his Twitter handle.
