Chasing 244, Hyderabad rode on a blazing start from Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head before Heinrich Klaasen guided the team home with an explosive finish. SRH reached 245 for 4 in 18.3 overs, registering their sixth win of the season and moving to 12 points.

Earlier, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bat first. Riding on a superb century from Ryan Rickelton, Mumbai posted 243 for 5 in their 20 overs.

Rickelton remained unbeaten on 123 off 55 balls, hitting 10 fours and eight sixes, while Will Jacks provided strong support with 46 off 22 balls.

In response, Hyderabad’s openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma laid a strong foundation with an aggressive approach at the top. Klaasen then ensured there were no hiccups in the chase, finishing the game in dominant fashion.

For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Praful Hinge picked up two wickets, while Sakib Hussain, Eshan Malinga and Nitish Kumar Reddy claimed one wicket each.

The defeat marked Mumbai Indians’ sixth loss of the season, further denting their playoff hopes, while Sunrisers Hyderabad continued their strong run in the tournament.
