The contest also brought major changes to the Orange Cap and Purple Cap standings following impressive performances from Shubman Gill and Kagiso Rabada.

Orange Cap Standings After RR vs GT

Sunrisers Hyderabad batter Heinrich Klaasen continued to lead the Orange Cap race with 494 runs in 11 matches at an average of 54.89. His teammate Abhishek Sharma remained second with 475 runs.

KL Rahul held on to the third position with 468 runs in 11 matches for Delhi Capitals.

Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill climbed to fourth in the standings after scoring a brilliant 84-run knock against Rajasthan Royals. Gill now has 462 runs from 10 innings this season at a strike rate of 160.41.

Rajasthan Royals opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi completed the top five with 440 runs in 11 matches.

Purple Cap Standings After RR vs GT

Gujarat Titans pacer Kagiso Rabada moved to the top of the Purple Cap standings with 18 wickets in 11 matches. Rabada overtook Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Anshul Kamboj, both of whom have 17 wickets each this season.

Prince Yadav of Lucknow Super Giants remained fourth with 16 wickets, while Eshan Malinga of Sunrisers Hyderabad occupied fifth place with 16 wickets as well.
