IPL 2026, RR vs LSG Today Match: Rajasthan Royals are once again withoun captain Riyan Parag for the Match 64 of the Indian Premier League 2026 against Lucknow Super Giants at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Tuesday due to a hamstring injury. Stand-in skipper Yashasvi Jaiswal confirmed the development at the toss. “He had some hamstring injury and he’ll be fine soon, I hope so. So, he’s not playing this game,” Jaiswal said.

Parag had also missed RR’s match against Gujarat Titans earlier this month because of the same issue before returning to score 51 off 26 balls against Delhi Capitals.

The right-handed batter has scored 258 runs in 11 innings this season at a strike rate of 151.76, including two half-centuries. Under his captaincy, Rajasthan Royals registered six wins in 11 matches.

To strengthen the batting unit, RR brought in Lhuan-dre Pretorius, who made his IPL debut earlier this season against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Rajasthan Royals also included Sushant Mishra and Sandeep Sharma in the playing XI for the must-win encounter.

Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants made two changes, bringing in Mohsin Khan and Ayush Badoni in place of Mohammed Shami and Aiden Markram.

The match holds major playoff significance for Rajasthan Royals, who remain in a must-win situation to keep their qualification hopes alive in IPL 2026. Lucknow Super Giants, meanwhile, have already been eliminated from playoff contention and will look to end their campaign on a positive note.
