LSG vs RR, IPL 2026: Mitchell Marsh and Josh Inglis produced a blistering opening partnership as Lucknow Super Giants posted a formidable 220/5 against Rajasthan Royals in their IPL 2026 clash at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

After being asked to bat first, LSG made an explosive start with Inglis and Marsh taking the attack to the RR bowlers from the outset. The pair powered the visitors to 83/0 at the end of the power play, marking LSG’s fourth-highest power play total of the season.

Inglis brought up his half-century in just 30 deliveries during the seventh over as the opening pair crossed the 100-run mark in the eighth over. Their aggressive stand finally ended at 109 runs when Yash Raj Punja bowled Inglis for a rapid 60 off 29 balls, an innings laced with seven fours and three sixes.

The 109-run partnership between Marsh and Inglis became LSG’s second-highest stand against RR for any wicket.

Marsh continued his assault after the dismissal and completed his fifty in just 25 balls. He later added 42 runs with Nicholas Pooran before Yashasvi Jaiswal dismissed Pooran for 16.

LSG maintained the scoring rate through the middle overs and crossed the 200-run mark in the 18th over as Marsh and captain Rishabh Pant stitched together a crucial partnership.

Pant contributed 35 off 23 balls with two fours and two sixes before being run out in the final over. Marsh also fell short of a century after being run out for a brilliant 96 off 57 deliveries, an innings featuring 11 fours and five sixes.

For Rajasthan Royals, Yash Raj Punja finished with figures of 2/35, while Jofra Archer claimed one wicket.
