United States National Cricket Team: Members of the United States national cricket team visited the Tirumala Temple in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, February 17, amid the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Team captain Monank Patel, along with players Milind Kumar and Saurabh Netravalkar, joined hundreds of devotees to offer prayers at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara. Videos shared by the Press Trust of India showed the players participating respectfully in rituals.

On the field, the USA team sits second in Group A, behind India and ahead of Pakistan, with a chance to qualify for the Super 8 stage. If Pakistan lose to Namibia and India defeat the Netherlands in their respective matches, the USA will advance to the next round alongside the Men in Blue.

Pakistan will face Namibia at 3:00 p.m. IST, while India takes on the Netherlands at 7:00 p.m. IST.
