The accident took place in Mauganj, located in the Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh, along National Highway 135. The youths were recording videos while performing high-speed stunts on the busy highway, where heavy vehicles frequently pass. They were riding two motorcycles, with one group filming the other. In an attempt to capture thrilling footage, the riders increased their speed and began dangerously overtaking and cutting across large vehicles on the road. The situation quickly spiraled out of control as both motorcycles accelerated further, ignoring the risks posed by surrounding traffic and the narrow gaps between moving vehicles.
