The wait for HSC results 2026 of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), conducted in February and March this year, is finally over for a total of 15,32,487 students. The results will be announced online today, Saturday, May 2, at 1 pm on the official websites.

The press conference will begin at 11 am today at the Board’s office in Pune, where the passing percentage and details regarding the HSC examination at the state’s nine divisional boards — Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan — will be announced at 11 am by the board officials. 

HSC Class 12th Result 2026 Link Activated at 1 PM

Meanwhile, the HSC Class 12th result 2026 official link will be activated at 1 PM at mahahsscboard.in and hscresult.mkel.org. Students can also check their results via SMS and on the DigiLocker application and website.

How to Check Maharashtra 12th Result 2026 Online?

1. Visit any of the official websites: mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org or mahahsscboard.in.

2. Click on the ‘HSC Examination Result 2026’ link.

3. Enter your hall ticket number or seat number

4. Enter your mother’s name.

5. Click on ‘View Result’.

Maharashtra HSC Result on DigiLocker

Students can download the Maharashtra 12th HSC result 2026 through Digilocker-results.digilocker.gov.in. Students need to create their account with the Digilocker. This is considered a safe and quick option to avoid technical issues during heavy traffic on result websites.

Maharashtra HSC Exam Result 2026 via SMS Format

To check the Class 12 result through SMS, students need to send:

MHHSC Seat Number to 57766. The result will then be sent to their mobile phone via SMS.

Last year, the overall pass percentage stood at 91.88 per cent. As in previous years, girls outperformed boys. The pass percentage among girls was 94.54 per cent, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 89.51 per cent.

Meanwhile, the board will soon begin the supplementary examination process for students who fail in one or more subjects. The supplementary exam results will be declared before the start of the next academic year so that students can continue their education without losing a year.
