Aishwarya Rai found herself in the middle of an controversy when a 32-year old man Sangeet Kumar claiming that the former beauty queen  is his mother. A video from 2018 of a man from Mangalore is doing the rounds who claims to be the son of Ash. He went on to say that he was born through IVF in London in 1988. According to reports, in a recent interview, he said that Aishwarya's parents, Brinda Rai and late Krishnaraj Rai looked after him till the age of two. 

He  alleged that his relatives had destroyed his birth records and expressed his wish of shifting to Mumbai to be with his mother Ash. The actress was 15 in 1988, the year which fan says she gave birth to him. Aishwarya is yet to respond on these allegations. Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya will be next seen in Mani Ratnam's Tamil flick Ponniyin Selvan. The first poster was launched a few days back.
