Sara Ali Khan on Monday penned an emotional note, remembering Sushant Singh Rajput on his death anniversary. The Love Aj Kal actress wrote, “Whenever I needed help, advice or a laugh you were always there. You introduced me to the world of acting, made me believe that dreams could come true, and gave me all that I have today. Still can’t believe you’re gone. But every time I look at the stars, the rising sun or the moon I know you’re here. From Kedarnath to Andromeda,” read Sara’s post. 

Sara Ali Khan had made her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant in Kedarnath. The film was directed and co-produced by Abhishek Kapoor. The film revolves around the love story of a wealthy Hindu Brahmin girl and a Muslim boy. Their love is put to the test amid misunderstandings and nature's wrath. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra, Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020. Initially, the Mumbai Police started investigating the case, however, currently, three central agencies - the Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI), the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are probing the case.
